This
year there are four available 2004 2005 GMC Yukon SUV's. Models include the
Yukon and Yukon, the Denali and Denali XL. The new GMC Yukon Denali comes
standard with air bags for driver and right front passenger and includes
Passenger Sensing System. The new sound system features Bose luxury speaker
system, enhanced performance amplification, Audio Pilot noise reduction
feature, 9 speakersincluding sub woofer. The
instrumentation panel is analog and includes speedometer, odometer with trip
odometer, fuel level, voltmeter, engine temperature, oil pressure, tachometer
and transmission temperature. The new driver information center monitors up to
31 different systems depending on vehicle equipment and is also a standard
feature on the 2004 2005 GMC Yukon Denali.
2004 2005
GMC Yukon Denali includes the hydroboost brake booster utilizes the vehicle's
power steering pump pressure as the energy source for providing brake assist.
Brake assist with the hydroboost is not affected by higher elevations since its
energy source is not affected by elevation. The driver may also benefit from
the greater total assist available from the hydroboost. The vehicle's brake
performance is enhanced by the fast response of the hydroboost.
The base
model for 2004 2005 is the GMC Yukon, two available engines. Vortec 4800 V8
(standard) with 275 horsepower or a Vortec 5300 V8 (available) with 285
horsepower. Also included in the 2004 2005 GMC Yukon is trizone air
conditioning, automatic, individual climate settings for driver, right front
passenger and rear passengers, includes front and rear HVAC systems. Also
included is the Hydroformed technology which uses highly pressurized water to
form the steel. This allows the steel to be bent without reducing wall
thickness, maintaining strength and increasing overall structural excellence.
Front and rear sections of 1/2-ton models are hydroformed; the front section
3/4-ton model is hydroformed.
2004 2005 GMC Yukon has a convenient available 8 button steering wheel controls
provide redundant audio controls and access to features such as the Driver
Information Center and OnStar.
